How to use the *TOOLS* to get the most out of SA Features

My Sweepstakes: A place to keep sweeps you've selected to enter. Just log in, then click | Add to My Sweepstakes | to change it to | Remove from My Sweepstakes | and click Save my Sweepstakes or refresh the page if you have pop ups allowed at SA.

Facebook & Twitter sweeps are for Sweepstakes Plus members only and you can use the standard categories:

Twitter Sweepstakes
Facebook Sweepstakes

OR, for PLUS members ONLY, you can create your own categories, which is great for Facebook & Twitter, other than daily entry IW sweeps, and anything else you can imagine!

Change to Access for Expiring Sweepstakes on Sweepstakes Advantage

This change was 100% necessary to keep the sweepstakes on SA Free. We've rolled out new features and options for free since 1997 and this is no longer feasible
especially in this economy. It takes many people and costly technologies to keep the site running an updated. All the sweepstakes are still accessible on the other sections of the site.
The expiring sweepstakes section is being reserved for the Plus members who are directly supporting the site. Sorry for the inconvenience but we have to ensure the site will
be around for everyone in the future.

My Sweepstakes for PLUS - select Custom Category

Reminder - make sure you create those categories BEFORE attempting to add New Sweepstakes to them.

Steps:
select Custom Category
create Custom Categories
In a new window, load a category ie; New Sweepstakes or Expiring Sweepstakes or each specific category { Daily/Daily Ongoing/Unlimited/24 Hour Entry/Instant Win/etc.}
Add sweeps to the Custom Category YOU decide they belong in - like IW's on a 1x/weekly/monthly/etc. entry schedule and SAVE

UPDATE re PLUS free trial:

Hi there -

I apologize if someone has already mentioned this, or if I missed the answer somewhere. I'm wondering if I'm using SweepPop incorrectly. I can only get it to bring up one tab at a time, even when a bunch are clicked. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if you checked this out yet, but two posts below your post is a helpful post which I quote. It has a link to a long list of instructions on how to use Sweeps Pop, and also a video on how to use it. Please post again if you still have questions.

^^Thank you! I had read that already, and after enabling the Sweeps Pop, choosing the 'check all' option, and then clicking Launch, it only brings up the first sweep in 1 tab. I'm using Google Chrome on a Mac. Not sure if a setting could be causing it, but I thought I'd ask incase others were having similar problems.
 
Someone did post about this experience in December. Here is the post, plus the reply. If you try it, and allow pop-ups and still can only launch the first sweep, then please submit a ticket to the Help Desk at this link:

On your comp, At the top, click on>TOOLS>INTERNET OPTIONS>SECURITY>TRUSTED SITES>Click on sites button, then type or C&P the site address in add this Web site to the zone then click ok/apply

SweepsCheck feature;
Login and navigate into any sweepstakes category.
Find a Sweepstakes that you want to submit your entry for and enter that contest.
Then place a check in the check box next to the listing that you've just entered.

*Now any time you login that sweepstakes will be checked off and the date you entered the sweepstakes will automatically display next to that sweepstakes. This SweepsCheck feature allows you to enter every single sweepstakes on our site without missing any and keeping track of when so you don't disqualify yourself.


SweepsCheck date stamps the listing. It is handy for marking off sweeps you have already entered so you don't enter again and disqualify yourself. It is also helpful for a 24 hour sweep so that you can see what time you entered and only enter again when your 24 hours are up.

MySweeps creates a list of sweeps for you. I use it mostly for Daily sweeps that I want to visit each day, and Weekly sweeps that I go through once a week. It lets me quickly find the sweeps I want to keep entering so that I can get in as many entries as they allow.
 
Report Problem Link; The 1st link under every listing is *Report Problem* please use it to report those issues that SA *can* fix, such as wrong category, end date/time, eligibility, etc. since the comments aren't always monitored, plus it's extra work to track back to the listing to update it, thanks!
