how often do you win?

It varies every month. Some months are really good. Some really suck. This month is a good month. Not alot of big wins but a bunch of small ones. Which are nice too. Today I won three instants and found out about a win from a daily.. before you say wow! those four wins have a total arv of .. drum roll please..... $16.00. :laughing:

Little wins like that keep me going. for this year I have gotten between 7 and 15 wins per month.
 
I average 0 wins per month :laughing: Yes, folks, you read that right :laughing:

I did, however, win a CD last month, but before that win I had not won anything since the end of 2007 if I remember correctly.

It's all good, though. I just keep entering because I know one day I'll win :sunny:

I'm "winning" about once a month, on average. The first year (2006) I won about $1,100.00 in contests/sweepstakes (divide by 12) - mainly gift cards for $100; the second year (2007), I won a trip to Paris, France :sunny: and a laptop computer :sunny:, and about 10 gift cards for $10 and $25 ($6,000 divided by 12); and this year so far I have won a gift card for $25 for gas from Shell, a year's subscription to Country Living (The Maids), an ! (I don't know what that is - I won it from Qtopia), and a digital camera and printer from Party Like A Pro) :sunny:

The gift cards I give away as Christmas or birthday presents. My husband and I went to Paris last September. I'll give away the digital camera and printer as a birthday gift to one of my family members (there are LOTS of birthdays this summer!); and, I'm typing this on the laptop that I won last summer.

I'm not as lucky as some folks at SA :whistle: but I win my share, I think :sunny:

there are some months that I don't win a thing..... since I've been here at SA my wins have dramatically picked up.... but I also have been going through some rough times and I do think that the negetive energy plays a part in the wins not rolling in so much... I've tried to think positive again lately and so far 2 wins this month..... gotta love those IW's to keep you goin'..... I started sweepin' in 2006 and I gotta say 2008 has been the worst year of my life for personal issues BUT the best for wins.... 2 Grand prizes so far.... :cheers:
 
:sunny: :sunny: :sunny: My wins vary from month to month....Usually not real big wins, but I Love the "Congrats" on the Instant Screen (even if it's a download.) Recently, just started concentrating on more "one entries and daily sweeps." I have won a couple from these, but no real biggies yet..... Love the thrill of sweeping and the surprise wins. Doesn't matter much if there big or small, I love them all. :sunny: :sunny:
 
I just won the M&M beautiful jacket which was great i have won in the past car,trip to hollywood california to see the american idol and i got to meet the idols and won five hundred with that prize that was a big one i have many small things but i have been in dry spell for a long time the jacket was a surpirse this month

That's it in a nutshell quitecontrary1977 - how many/what type {daily/1x/IW/etc} and how often we enter is different from sweeper to sweeper, so there will be some who win quite frequently {I used to} and those that win very rarely, and lots of us somewhere in between.

Some count the "gimmes" while others don't, and still others don't even play for small prizes :laughing:

Some don't enter IW's { yeah, I know, what is UP with that??? :scratch: } and some enter every sweeps they are interested in only once, no matter if it's an unlimited, a daily, or what.

The "norm" for new sweepers is 4 - 6 months before they get a win, but you'll see some win their first week/day/etc.!!! :laughing:

I am the opposite of you, i hardly ever enter the instant win sweeps.

I found that 1x's just took too much time for me to do - from going through them to entering them - so I just stopped entering them. Plus, even though I have won from a 1x's, I just don't feel it's worth the effort.

My comment about IW's was because it's hard for me to believe people in this day and age of instant gratification would shun them! But, I guess you could apply how I feel about 1x's to IW's, and if you spent a lot of time/energy on them just to see everyone else win and you never could, I could see how that could turn you off to them - I cringe whenever I see a Kraft IW myself, lmao!!! :cry: :crazytongue: :whistle:
 
Yeah, I'm trying to lay off of the instants myself and spend more time on 1X's and dailys. It seems like I win often on the instants, but not many things that are worth much or that I even want. It seems like I was spending the most time on the instants, but winning more from the little amount of 1x's I was doing. I did win one good instant before, and some medium sized things, but lots of swaggy type prizes (keychains, downloads, gum, bread, etc.). It's been about 2 weeks since I started focusing on other types of contests (other than instants), and have already seen the difference and have been winning more.
