How many do this (Sweeping)?

Just wondering if any of you know, or can guess, how many people are actively sweeping in the US? By actively sweeping, I mean a dedicated sweeper, doing at least 100+ entries per day, rarely missing a day (and then only on your vacation win :sunny:). Any thoughts would be appreciated.

:sunny: I am sure that there are probably alot more than any of us realize. I would guess hundreds of thousands, perhaps a million. Maybe they should ask that question on the next census!

My own personal guess is 15,000 or so. I have based this guess on the counters that sweeps sometimes have (like MM's or Ghirardelli). I think a million is way too high. The US population is 300 mil, and I cannot see 1 in 300 doing this. I have introduced a few friends to this, and they have tried it, but do not have the patience and will do do it consistently like I do, and only lasted a month or so. I don't even tell most people I do this because they think I'm some kind of weirdo.

SilkSoyMilk.com - Green Caps for a Greener World Sweepstakes has been running since 04-09 and has 41,103 green caps.....41,103 divided by 15 days = about 2100 plays per day

the HGTV isn't 1 entery per person... that is numerous entries per person at 1x a day... so that 1 million or so mentioned isn't 1 million people....

Actually, I should have said "people" not "entries". I had read somewhere some time ago that an HGTV spokesman stated a figure of over 1,000,000 of how many people enter to win the house. Many people only enter once, and others enter a handful of times or sporadically. One winner of a dream house only entered once. :O

When you consider the odds of winning, it IS amazing when we do win something, isn't it??????

*sigh* now if only I would beat the odds and win that next Powerball lottery!
