It has been about five weeks of sweeping and i have only had 3 wins. When will the wins start to pore in? Please tell me your stories, that is when you really said wow this hobby is really paying off.
 
five weeks and three wins is good. :laughing: It takes months of entering consistently to win consistently . entering alot of sweeps helps.
 
I've been sweeping since the early 70's so....about the time I won that Kiss album from Creem magazine was when I went, yeah! this is great! :sunny:
 
I have been sweeping for 2 1/2 years .... It was around 6 months into it, I came home and seen a big box in the kitchen and ask my fiance "what's in that"? He said "i don't know FedEx dropped it off this morning and your name is on it, so I thought you ordered something"... I thought to myself, "I didn't order anything"....... opened it, and it was my 1st win ... a Conair Deluxe Foot Spa.... a year from that I finally won a Grand Prize then 4 weeks later another Grand Prize..... This month is my 2 1/2 year mark... I hope I win something Grandddd.....

:scratch: I had three wins total last year. I think you are doing great. :sunny: I'm not sure wins ever really pour in. :nono:
 
I win about 2 to 10 things a month. I've been entering for a few years, about 2 hours a day. I am very happy with this amount of wins!
 
Well I have been doing this for 2 years and still no grand prize win. So I guess it all comes down to luck.
 
I don't think the wins "pour in" for most people. I sweep 2 - 4 hours a day (anywhere from 700 - 1000 a day) and if I'm lucky I win once a week (usually small prizes). The nicest prize I won was a camcorder about 1 1/2 years ago and I've been sweeping for a couple of years. I'm not sure I would say it "pays off", but it is a very fun hobby (sometimes frustrating) and if you have the time to spend on it I've *heard* :laughing: you can win some really neat prizes! I'm still waiting on a winner's circle prize myself! Best of luck! :sunny:
 
There are people who hardly sweep and win some really big prizes. When it's your turn to win, it's your turn to win. This year 08 wasn't as productive as 07. Had alot of wins in 07. not too many in 08. but, looking foward to 09! Good Luck and remember the only way to win it is if your in it! Keep sweeping! :sunny:
 
Give it time,it was slow when I started out last year..But when that big one comes in like my win from "Hampton INN"-----4 plane tickets and 10 nights at the Hampton and $2500 spending money,and my $2500 from snack food...Im just giving you a taste of what patients can bring to you :headbang:So keep on sweeping and dont give up!!!!

I only had 5 wins all last year ... and they were all dinky. :cry: :cry: :cry:

It took me 6 months to win {other than a "gimme" - where everyone gets a ringtone/wallpaper/etc} and I thought I was going to go nuts seeing the same people always winning when I couldn't hit a thing!!! :cry:

Then, it was like the floodgates opened - I was winning multiple times a week - sometimes 2 - 3 times in the same day!!! :crazytongue:

Then came a 6 - 7 week dry spell, where I began questioning everything - what did i do wrong/was I blacklisted and didn't know it???

Well, that dry spell ended with an awesome win {$700 digital camera :headbang:} and I learned something {cue for regulars to roll their eyes and skip the rest of my post :laughing: :whistle:}:



Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win. If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.

The sweepers credo? Enter and forget it. Always be happy for those that win - even when they win "your" prize :laughing: - and be positive you will win.

Reminding myself of the sweepers credo is how I keep my positive attitude, and my sanity.

I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!! I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!

Hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:
 
It's a HOBBY. There's no guarentee you will ever win anything. There's nothing that even says you have to win.

It's like the lottery. No guarentees

Thanks for these posts as I too am getting frustrated with no wins. It helps to hear others points of view. Personally, I was wondering if more people are entering since the economy is so bad. What do you think?
 
there are some people here that enter close to 1000 a day! and others that enter around 100 or so I have been entering about 80 to 100.

Yes, it is a hobby, and there is nothing that says you have to win, but IT IS OKAY to feel frustrated when you used to win a lot, and when you're spending a lot of time of them, only to win nothing, it's can be letdown. FOR ME, IT'S COME TO A SCREECHING HALT. :cussing: THAT'S what most of us are venting about. It used to be so different (for me at least), and now it has slowed down...er....stopped).
