How do you mail...

... Back an affy for a big prize that requires for it to be back in the sponsors hands within 10 days? Do you overnight it with FEDEX/UPS. Or do you send it regular mail? I'm just wondering because I sent mine back regular mail with deliver confirmation slip and it still hasn't go there. I'm getting REALLY nervous. Please advise only if you sent off an affy for a big prize in the same manner.

I haven't won a big prize. However, the big win posters here seem to all send them via overnight. :wave:
 
The last one I printed the affy myself and sent it back regular mail. If your JA is ePrize they will email you when they receive it, which will put your mind at ease. My advice is to get it back to them asap no matter how you do it. If the paperwork is lost, you can send them a new set.
 
Thank you all. I will wait until tomorrow. If when I check back with the USPS tracking system and it doesn't say something like "destination reached" I'll redo everything and overnight it FEDEX.

Thank you very much. Ironically, I just got an email from ePrize. They HAVE received all my documention and are reviewing it to make sure I filled everything out and then they will continue with the awarding of the prize.

So glad it made it! When I won my prize from Dr.pepper in 05, they sent me a postage paid envie to return it overnight at fed-ex. I figure that if I ever win another big prize and have to send an affy in, I will pay the extra $$ to send overnight.

I'm with ya there. I think from now on.. On anything BIG.... I will overnight it too... Not worth the stress since you are always required a certain amount of turn-around time. Thanks again all.... I can breathe now and just wait patiently..... :sunny:

Thanks Amy girl... I'm sooo happy too. My family and I needed this sooo bad... Our home was starting to look like the GoodWill....... Well not really, but we do need NEW furniture and other items... So relieved.
 
I didn't know any better when starting off and I've always sent it back regular mail, except for the Wendy's Burgers for a year, which they provided me with a Priority Mail or FedEx return envie ( I don't remember which). When I won my first big prize it was going from Ohio to New York and I asked the postal worker and he said it would be $5 for probably the same amount of time. So, I sent it regular first class mail.... NO TRACKING! LOL! Now I know I would probably cough up the extra bucks, I mean it was a $13,000 trip.. geez... but we really didn't have a lot of cash at the time (it was right after Thanksgiving).

I got an affy for an XBOX game and sent it via first class mail as well because it wasn't a big prize... but for big prizes, from now on, I am all Priority Mail...

just wondering, how much is it to FedEx a letter?
 
I havent' won a REALLY REALLY Big prize, but i did win a prize once where the letter stating that I won came by Fed EX, I had to get it notorized, and they were nice enough to include a return envelope with postage paid for it to be returned through Fed Ex too. I thought that was really great of the company.
