How do Twitter parties work?

They still sort of give me anxiety. You don't want to miss a question, everything is just happening so fast...I DID win one a few months ago for a $50 Amazon gift card, so that was cool. I haven't participated in a while but the more of them you do, the more you get the hang of it. They definitely take an emotional toll in the beginning though, at least for me.
