How did the debate go?

Obama up by 10 points.. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27155454/ :) although I did watch an interview with.. cant remember her name right now. And she said that Obama really needs to be 4 or 5 points ahead to just be breaking even.. I thought that sounded right. Poll numbers can be a little weird. Should be a close election and I am really looking forward to their last debate this Wednesday.

My boys liked it.. It was a little to cutesy for my daughter.. She gets home from school and immediately puts in on msnbc if it isn't on there already. She is only 12 but oh boy she has opinions.

Trust me those opinions will never go away  Wait til the day she wants to get married and you and she have to go through all those opinions together.

My father, a retired military right wing kinda guy, sent me an audio clip today - from the Howard Stern show. That is itself was bizarre enough to get me to listen to it:

These folks sure weren't paying attention! I wonder if they ever figured out what they agreed to.

Oh my gosh that is just scary that they were so confused. I bet they will find out soon that they were voting for the wrong guy and gal.

There will always be uniformed voters.

I so agree with you. I actually kind of feel sorry for then because they may be voting and not be informed. Maybe those three were just not really paying attention or they may just have been nervous.

I thought at the beginning McCain was strong but towards the end he came off as.. a little crazy.. The facial expressions.. etc..

Obama could have better also. I think it was the best debate out of the three.

Obama has largest crowd ever in St. Louis. ~~ http://www.kmov.com/topstories/stories/kmov-stlouisnews-081017-obama-rally-preview.121ed7dc1.html
It was like a sea of people..

An estimated 100,000 people, confirmed by his campaign to be the largest crowd for an Obama event in the U.S., spilled onto the expansive grounds under the Gateway Arch. They appeared to be mostly ardent supporters of the Illinois senator, shouting "O-bam-AHH, O-bam-AHH" to his ideas on easing the nation's economic crisis and lifting the middle class.

other news.. sarah palin on SNL... http://www.nbc.com/Saturday_Night_Live/video/clips/gov-palin-cold-open/773761/ I hate to say it... she did well. And as a added bonus mark wahlberg makes an appearance..

and... Colin Powell endorses Obama http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/27265490#27265490 colin powell rocks! :headbang:

Right now I am leaning towards Guy Richie, unless Madonna comes up with something substantive...oh, wait, this is still about politics. :sunny: When is the election over? November, right?
Everybody get out there and vote!

And BTW, if you're a first time voter and this election has motivated you to get out and vote...please do not pay any attention to the weird internet rumors that are surfacing.
The election is still going to be Tuesday, November 4, 2008 NOT November 15th !

George Bush has not declared himself "president for life" (that is from the upcoming movie The Watchman)

This video is what I was talking about - it does an excellent job of explaining how we got into the economic mess we're in:

Amy I have seen this on another site and it's so true to think how this all happened. I hope we can see a way out of all this soon and I honestly believe our best choice for POTUS is McCain.

Obama wants us to share the wealth but how is that fair to those who work hard and then Obama wants to give it to people who won't even work.

This race is tight and it's going to be a crazy election night for sure.
