but then again can any politician.
NOPE!
Amen!

NOPE!
I can't seem to copy a message to respond to, so I will just say I completely agree with completelyme when you say that McCain deserves some respect for his comments at the rally. That's more like the McCain that used to be.....
And it's pretty scary if people are shouting things at rallies that the secret service has to be concerned about, so I am glad that McCain was able to rise above the politics for a minute and be human.
At first I thought maybe he read my posts on him condoning the racists by not saying anything. Like, maybe a lighbulb went off and he said to himself, "You know, John, completelyme is right! I do need to set these people straight!" j/k :crazytongue:
I bet someone sent him this link...

I hope that means that Palin's brother in law did not really Taser a moose?
No he didn't taser a moose, he tasered his son! He illegally shot a moose. :crazytongue:
far as liecount, per their site:
Do you do the research yourself?
Some of it. We will lean heavily on respected sources like hug.org for our data. Some info we will observe and research ourselves. We are not a research group, nor are we respected journalists.
Which tells me if I want to know I need to check with fact check.

He tasered his....son. *gulp* If somebody tasered a kid around me I'd misuse power on the guy, if I had any power to misuse. An adult moose probably would not feel too much (being really big and having fur and all that) but a kid....

I'm guessing some people may be going to that other sweep site to get their facts.
Do the research for yourselves as best you can. I do realize how hard that may be to do considering the information out there on the internet and the very bias media but either way both these politicians are posting attack ads and things are getting pretty heated right now.
Is it Nov. 4 yet?
Critics and some observers of the channel say that Fox News Channel promotes conservative political positions. Fox News Channel publicly disagrees with allegations of bias in the channel's reporting.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MSNBCCritics and some observers of the network say that MSNBC has become increasingly politically liberal, particularly in its prime time lineup

I just had a really great conversation with a friend of my husband's who is very much pro McCain. He said he didn't like Obama at all. It was so refreshing to get his answer to my "why?" question. His answer had nothing to do with the man himself. He simply doesn't agree with the policies that Obama supports.
We were then able to discuss the policies from McCain that I don't agree with.
It was really nice to have this conversation and know that there are some people who won't vote for Obama out there who are willing to look at the actual issues and not just the fact that they don't like him and they don't try to slam him as a person.
This campaign of fear and doubt gets us too far from the real issues at stake for the next four years. It's historically a republican campaign tactic to do this in October, and in fact this happened to McCain in the primaries 8 years ago when he ran against Bush, and I hope everyone can look past all of this character assassination junk and look at the real issues. Who will help our economy more? Who will resolve our military actions? And so many more issues.
That all depends on your own views, who you think will do a better job, but to talk about fear and doubt for unfounded things in an election this important is not productive.
