Hornitos Green Elephant and question

I just received an email from Coyne PR to notify me that I was one of the 500 winners in the Hornitos Green Elephant sweeps over the holidays. The prize is a $25 egift card, yet the affadavit requests social security number and a copy of my driver's license. That seems...fishy? Anyone else receive this?
 
There have been other sweeps that have asked for this information for a relatively small prize. You need to decide whether or not you wish to accept.
 
I received the same notification and sent them the information. I have never had a problem but you need to feel comfortable and it is only $25
 
Thanks everyone! I checked with the administrator and she said they don't store any of the info, it's mainly to verify you are over 21. Hope to see more winners from this one here.
 
I received notification too. Sent driver's license because they need proof of age (alcohol). Left SSN block blank.
 
I have always been totally paranoid about releasing my SSN. However, nowadays, everyone has access to your ssn - phone company, medical staff . . . . still careful but not so fearful anymore.
 
I also won. You can freeze your credit for free. That way if anyone tries to open an account in your name they can’t.
 
Received my gift card, hopefully everyone else gets theirs soon. Never provided ssn.
