HOF winners, are you loyal?

Anyone who has won a HOF win, are you loyal to that sponsor/brand? I won from Dr.pepper in 2005 and Dr.pepper is my first soda pop choice.

I don't know how to make a poll here or I would.

We don't go out of our way to buy their products. We do have to be responsible with our money. We always shop on sale and with coupons. We won big from Kraft, and we do buy alot of their products; but only because it's the best deal for us at any given time. This is the same for any other manufacturer/retailer. We won big from a radio station that we don't get or even listen to that type of music. Although, I thoroughly enjoyed playing Texas Holdem' Poker with Trisha Yearwood and talking to her. I'm sure, at one time or another, we are buying from most of them, but only when we're getting a good deal. In other words, we don't think about it or worry about it. If we were committed to buying from every sponsor we ever won from, we'd be broke and living on the street trying to support them!! :crazytongue:

I won a large grand prize from Fetzer wines, Brown-Forman the sponsor. I never heard of them before as I'm not a drinker, and my win didn't change this.

You make a really good point about being loyal to every sponsor you have won from and going broke.

Dr.pepper was my 1st choice before I won from them so I guess it didn't really make any difference about winning.

I have switched some products by winning/freebies only because, I liked how it worked and the prices. (Laundry soaps and such).

I won a trip to vegas in 2006 from Celebrity cafe, I took the $1,000 cash option after a battle with the sponsor (not celeb., they helped me) and I would not rec. that sponsor to anyone. I do still enter celeb. cafe sweeps though since I had a good experience with them.

Amazon, I didn't do much with them until I won my first GC and started getting GC's from surveys. Now, I am loyal to Amazon. I am a huge amazon junky!! I only use GC's though.

The freebies have changed more of my buying habits than my wins have. I found my Sunsilk shampoo that way and I love it ~ just like the Dove soap that I like so well. I have found products with gift cards that I have won that I do like to buy though, and I sometimes do use that brand if possible. I guess each each win is its own story!

I agree, freebies have changed my habits more than wins as well. BTW, did you take advantage of the walmart sunsilk deal? They were buy one get one packages. I had some coupons so I was able to get 4 bottles of shampoo and 2 bottles of conditioner for about $1 something each pack.

I love Dove!! That is my prefered deod. now and that was after trying a freebie, same with razors. I am a freebie junky and love trying new things. I have a box that I keep all of my samples in, they come in handy. Ohhhh, same thing with toothpaste! I could go on and on.

With products, I use anything that I get for free unless I absolutely don't like it. I haven't bought things like toothpaste, deodorant, soap, etc., in years. I stock up on it when I get it for free with a sale and coupon or a freebie coupon.

I won a HUGE gift from Fanta and have since bought their product when I see it and am thirsty. So I would say that, yes, it has made me start using their product.

I missed out on the Wal-Mart thing, but I did go in Wal-Mart the other day and find a Sunsilk gift set~shampoo, conditioner, hairspray, detangler/shine spray, and three flavored lip glosses for $8.88. I bought myself two of them because I love it so much ~ great price!

I also love the $2.88 price Dark Vanilla perfume that is sold at Christmas time!

Does anyone know anything about the Walgreen special/sells ~ customer cards? We have one opening near us and I have heard that they have really good deals and sells if you know what you are doing, but I don't. Anyone willing to help me?

I forgot to mention that I had previously won a large cash grand prize from Betty Crocker, but no more likely to buy the products than before. Sometimes when there's a coupon, maybe, but otherwise I'm not so into cake mixes and stuff. Sorry, Betty.

Mmmm...Fetzer. Lovingly known as "Fester" in my house. I'd be happy to win a coupon from them! I have yet to win a big prize and I'm not holding my breath. But a glass of Fester makes the losing go down easier. :crazytongue:
