Bunnytoes, what operating system are you using? If you are on IE6, you will have problems with our forum. Admin is going to do a major forum change soon which should alleviate the problems.
A trick I learned before upgrading to IE7 was to delete something in your pm in box and then the new pm's will show up. I know it's crazy, but it is being worked on.
The one thing I can say is that Admin always posts updates in the announcement forum. So, if you ever want to know what is up here, check there.
