We're hosting about 15 for Thanksgiving and they are in for a treat. Only about 25,000 heritage turkeys are harvested annually in the US. Rather than being cooped up, they are allowed to roam in the pasture, i.e. they are free range. These turkeys aren't harvested early. They are given the chance to grow naturally on their own without antibiotics. They taste more like a wild turkey does.
I was shocked to receive the e-mail. This was one of those single entry sweeps with only one prize. ARV $250 ($200 for the turkey and $50 for the FedEx overnight shipping. This sweeps ended yesterday and I received the e-mail today. This is especially sweet because I am currently unemployed and between jobs.
