HELP!! I'm Getting the run around!

I won a $1000 Gift Certificate to Maxim way back at the beginning of April and I've completed EVERYTHING they wanted me to at that time. Now, for the past 3 months I've been getting the run around from them and they keep passing off the contact person to someone else every other week. I can't get my prize and no one will help me!!!

WHAT CAN I DO?

WHO CAN I COMPLAIN TO?

Call in the Better Business Bureau.
Also, Good Housekeeping magazine has an 'on your side' feature that may interest you. Their expert may help to solve your problem.

I would do everyting stated above, maybe you can send a certified letter to the sponsor and if that doesn't work contact the Atty Gen for that state. Just some addl thoughts

Hi Everyone, I've got a little dilemma and needed some advice. A few months ago I won a $1000 gift certificate from Maxim Living through the Icehouse promotion. I received all the paperwork and signed the affy and got the necessary confirmation. Well, in a final letter they said I need to contact a guy at Maxim to choose what items I wanted with the gift certificate and gave his email and phone number. I've tried NUMEROUS times to email and call him and haven't had a response from him. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?! :smt009

I agree. The Icehouse site is really slow loading, but I happen to have a copy of the husband's Maxim at hand. Mostly it just lists names, but does have a contact phone number for the US Director in Chief. His name is Jimmy Jellinek, (212) 302-2626. Consumer Public Relations is handled by Bragman, Nyman, Cafarelli (310) 274-7800. I can't seem to pull up anything usefull from Icehouse. If it's any help at all, they're a branch of Miller Brewing Company.

I posted a little while ago that I had won a $1000 gift certificate from Maxim back in April. Well it's been a little over 7 months and I still haven't recieved it....or any help for that matter! I have been bounce4d around to about 6 different people at Maxim and no one will return my calls or help me. I have repeatedly contacted the company that ran the sweeps and they keep assuring that the 'new' person that I'm passed to will help me....NOT!!!! It looks I'll never see my biggest win because I don't know what to do anymore
Oh yeah, the affy was signed and they recieved it in April.

Sorry just needed to vent.
