First of all....in a slump. Bad. Haven't even gotten a ringtone lately. Still waiting on gift cards that were said to take 8-10 weeks....that 'win' was about 12 weeks ago. Nothin.
Now that that's off my chest......
Does anyone know of ANY winners from Circuit City or Classic Heartland dailies? It just seems like some contests keep happening, but you never hear of anybody even getting a T-shirt (or ringtone).
Just curious....

I was wondering about Week In Rewind....

I wonder why more people don't post their wins? It's nice to see what prizes are finally be awarded from sweeps we've been entering daily & such.

I've been wondering about Prize Agency. They have prizes that start at 1000 and go up from there and there really easy to enter, kind of like the Caffeine sweeps. Any winners with Prize Agency?

Do you mean ePrize?

If you do, they run the CaffeineNow sweepstakes also.

I've been looking at their site, and there seems to be very little information on them. I can't find a "Privacy Policy" or any other usual information.

I clicked on "Clients" and don't see anything other than links to their sweepstakes forms.

In the rules, they have themselves "Prize Agency" as the sponsor.

Personally, I wouldn't enter these.

Also note in their rules:

15. Entrant's Personal Information: Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy.

It appears that PrizeAgency.com is a phishing site. Borrowed from another forum:

Interestingly, after all this talk, I decided to check out several of their contests; and when you look at the source code, you see something VERY suspicious...you notice that each contest has no distinguishing signature when you submit. That being said, if you enter into say a "Laptop" contest or a "DVD" contest they are all submitted to the same location with no discerning way to tell which contest you entered into.

What this tells me is that they are ONLY collecting email addresses and nothing more. They couldn't even bother to fake the submissions to a fake contest in a way that would reduce suspicion. They are essentially just bundling all submissions into a big pool. If this were a real contest they would have a unique way of separating submissions for each contest they run (e.g. cookies, hidden variable, submit path), but they have none.

This is my definitive proof that they are running a scam operation to sell your emails. Avoid them.

Thanks for the info.

I deleted them from my everyday contests that I enter. Think I'll just stick with the company's I know.

THANKs.. you confirmed my suspicions about them! may be it is not coincidence that ever since entering two of those "contests".. I have inundated with wins from the "UK and Irish Lotto" and tons of those Nigerian scams?

I just recently won a $1500 gift card from Circuit City - was notified by email and as soon as I returned my affy, they emailed my egift card - got a new laptop, camera, electronic piano keyboard and music CD's. Nice Christmas surprise!
