Grand prize winner in coke energy overwatch league

Not sure what I am going to get since BlizzCon was cancelled this year. Not sure if I should claim just in case it rolls over to 2021 who knows if they could go then. Paying taxes on prizes makes decisions harder. Any advice?

Well, you have to make sure it's useable for next year. No way you're going this year. If you have to pay taxes on it as you're using it this year I would decline it. By the time next year rolls around they'll screw you and won't honor it even though they said they would. You can contact the heck out them with no response. If it were me, I feel it's not worth paying a tax on something you're not getting.

Normally I’d agree with you on this, but we’re talking about Coca-Cola Sweepstakes. A multinational blue chip corporation. I think they’ll do right by the OP.
