Hi fellow sweepers. :) I am a newbie and have been entering certain sweeps everyday for a little over 2 weeks now. I am a huge reader and LOVE Goodreads and have been entering for multiple books daily. My question is how long after the giveaway is over do they usually notify the winners? My goal is to read 1 book a week this year and our library is a small one and most of the books are ones I've read. lol. I am hoping to win a few off of Goodreads, but so far no luck.

Any winners know about how long after the giveaway is over that you are notified? :) Thanks.
 
Sometimes a book from a Goodreads win just arrives in the mail without prior notification of a win.

When you are logged in to Goodreads you can look at the book giveaways you have entered, and check the ones which have ended to see the names of the winners. I have done that occasionally for books I really want to read.

Also, once an author sent me mail to my Goodreads mailbox letting me know I won, so there is a lot of variation within Goodreads.
 
I live on the west coast, and I would always get notifications around 3am (after the night it expired) that I won. So around 6am eastern time. It was really soon!
