I donated my hair to locks of love. Yesterday I cut my hair and it was long enough for me to donate. I almost cried when I saw my hair but I like the way it turned out. Besides I can grow it again :laughing:
 
What a wonderful thing to do! I've known others who have donated to locks of love. It's a great organization. My daughter has long hair and has considered it, but her father asked her not to cut her hair! And I bet when you grow it back out, you will probably do it again. :)

:) I probably will. I color my hair but that doesn't matter. As long as the hair is long enough and I think it has to be in good shape. It only took about 2 and a half years to grow that long so that's not too bad. It's just so hard to take care of long hair even though it's really pretty.
 
that is so great for you to do, I also donate mine to them. the first time I walked in walmart and they had several children asking people who where getting hair cuts to donate, every since then once a year I get a hair cut and it is usaully 10 inches so I donate, if it is not 10 inches I wait alittle longer. I think anyone who can should do this, I relize some people cant grow their hair long or whatever, but if able it is a great cause. thank you cindy for bring this cause the needed attention it deseaves
 
Awe Tobbymac I'm so glad I am not alone. Your hair must grow really fast. :) It does make me feel like I can do something to help those who need hair.
