Just received notification that I am one of the winners. Prize includes Vacation consists of round-trip coach air transportation (within the United States) for winner and up to three (3) guests; quad-occupancy overnight accommodations via a Vrbo rental property, selected by winner from Sponsor's pre-approved list, for three (3) nights (subject to availability); and one (1) $500.00 pre-paid debit card
Am waiting on some clarification before acception, must book by 10/31 and travel by the end of July 2021. Hopefully that will be a safer time.
 
Congrats! What were the list of locations to pick from? I was just notified I won as well.

Congrats to you as well buddy :)I believe vrbo is like a vacation booking website. I think all trips are subject to availability but I guess you can go almost anywhere in the world. It says the prize is worth 5,000 but I am wondering do we get taxed the full amount even if the trip we book is worth much less?

Congrats to you as well! It is. I looked at the site and the rental properties vary drastically. Per the rules it says we can pick from the sponsor’s list. I’ve won multiple trips and if that’s the case, the sponsor will either usually adjust it on the 1099 or you can claim a lower value come tax time if you can back it up.

Awesome congrats everyone! I won this one a month ago as well. We are thinking of doing San Diego sometime in 2021.

You can literally pick anywhere in the country to go to. The only restriction is that whatever property you choose to stay at it cannot be over $1350 for the three nights. Just note that the ARV of the prize is $5000 and you get a $500 gift card so you do the math on how high you can go with your flights.

Oh wow! Was it all 50 states (I’m thinking of choosing Hawaii) or is it lower 48 only?

Also, do they book everything for you?

Sorry for all the questions. I replied yesterday morning and haven’t heard back.

Hey no worries it’s very exciting. It’s my understanding that you can go to any of the 50 states as long as you stay within the parameters. $1350 for the 3-night stay, $500 gift card and then $3150 for up to 4 round trip flights. When I heard back there were no restrictions on Hawaii or Alaska

vrbo is like airbnb.... you can basically book anywhere in the world where rentals are being listed. So unless you really want to go to Cuba, Iran, other hostile areas or really remote locations, you should be safe.I believe they cover a round trip flight and lodging. You probably have to cover your own food and transportation.

See my response above. I am pretty sure as long as you stay within their parameters you can go anywhere in the US (Hawaii and Alaska included). Check out VRBO for available properties to get an idea of what $1350 for 3 nights will get you

Some one is going to book everything for you. The person I am in touch with told me that he'd book whatever property we wanted and then take care of the flights. I have no idea how/when you get the $500 gift card but that is supposed to be used for any kind of transit, meals etc.
