frito lay trip winner

I won a 3 night trip to anywhere from frito lay- very excited! I am trying to extend it at my cost for a week vacation. Not sure how to do this. Wondering if there are any winners that can tell me what you have done?
 
We didn't extend our trip, but I did win a trip for a family of 4 and we have 5 people. We asked and they said we would have to arrange separately for the 5th member. So my husband became the default 5th member, as the kids had to be under the care of an adult and I was the technical winner of the trip. Essentially, we coordinated the 4 winners package, and then once confirmed my husband booked his stuff separately, which was a flight and theme park tickets. I suspect you could do the same, just tell the place that you have won x number of days, and would like to pay separately for x additional.
 
I always extend trips with sweepstakes, just tell them to book your return flight a few extra days later. I've never had any problems coming home later or going earlier. As long as the cost of the flights doesn't change wildly, then I doubt they would have an issue with it. Obviously they won't pick up the hotel tab for the extra days, but having more time on a trip is definitely more relaxing and worth it!
 
Thank You everyone! It is an awesome win! They are working with me-the problem is we want a beach vacation. In the summer it is usually a 7 night only. Trying to see what I could do. I don't know what or how to let them book then I would complete the week.
 
We have won three trips so far and have never attempted to extend them. That said, I have found all of the fulfillment people great to work with and expect they will be flexible with you. Wonderful prize, I am happy for you!
