........What are they? Are they the same as entering sweepstakes? Or do you sign up for something and they send you an item guaranteed? I see annika said in the winners circle she recieved a water bottle. Just curious...

freebies are just that free items offered by different sources, not all freebies are equal but a true freebie costs you nothing @ all.If a freebie is posted and something is required IE shipping it should be posted in the post
 
I do the freebie thing every day....and as a result I get freebies in my mail box everyday almost!

Ya never know what will show up that day! Most of them take a long time to show up ... some never do. But it is still great!

How do I know which ones to enter and which ones will really send me something no matter what? And again, am I guaranteed to win something on the "freebies"?

You don't WIN anything...these are free samples manufacturers give away! Only experience will teach you which ones are for real and which aren't. But the best guideline is that if you have actually heard of the company (ie: proctor & gamble, betty crocker, subway, whackdonalds, etc) .... then you will get it ... If you haven't ... then you probably won't because it probably is just a thing to get your e-mail addy.

You are never "guaranteed" any freebie even with big companies. Supplies are limited and most are really popular. News spreads fast across the web and there are numerous message boards on the topic. But it's usually not as if there's a random drawing....They give them out until the supplies run out.
 
:sunny: The freebies are great. Love the Walmart free samples. Like Loren my mailbox contains freebies nearly everyday. I literally have boxes of this stuff. Those little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, deordorant, body lotions, shower gel, etc are great to throw in a basket for my guest room. My guests love it! What a great way to try out all kinds of great new products.

Yup, I remember pmeek mentioned that before, so about a year ago, I began putting all the freebie toiletries in a basket to use for guests. Surprising how many good things you accumulate, and it does make it easy, have small items at hand. :)
 
I use my freebies when I go on vacation! So much easier to pack! I also do all the cat and dog freebies! My babies love the snacks:]
 
I've gotten a ton of great freebies. Some are given to the first 500 or so folks who sign up, where they clearly state the limit, others I've signed up say quanties limited but still let you enter your data. Days/weeks later, they email and say you were too late.

As you do this, you'll learn which sites/companies are better than others.

If the site is a input form and full of Google ads, it is apt not to be true/good. Some of those are okay, but many aren't, just there to collect info to resell.
 
I love the freebies. I have gotten a few tshirts. nice ones. and all kinds of hair products. Its nice. My youngest always gets the mail and he will come in a say "only got freebies today mom". :laughing:
 
The freebies are great. I have found some great products that I now buy on a regular basis because of the freebies. I just today rec'd a bottle (full size) of tanning/firming lotion that I got from one of the allure freebies. Can't beat that with a stick. The last trip we took to Atlanta was easy because every single one of the samples was just the right size to fit in the quart baggie that you have to have to get thru security (shampoos etc)

Gotta love them freebies! They take care of the halibut-belly look AND cellulite all in one fell swoop!!
