Flagged as a spam entry

Twice this week I have not been allowed to enter a contest. the message "flagged as spam entry" has shown up. Has this happened to anyone else, and what can I do about it? I am not using any automated entry device, just entering individual contests. I do use auto fill to put the address in but this would show up as a problem for everyone right?

Are these social media entries? A site like Gleam/Steamy Kitchen? Or on a company's main website? Did you try to clear cache and hand fill in the entry and see if you get the same message? I have never experienced this, but my curiosity is peaked.

One was Gleam and one was the company's website. It has only happened twice but it got me to wondering if my entries looked like spam to other companies and I just don't get an automatic notice. I tried on three different browsers, Chrome, Firefox and Edge, and got the same result, so it must be my information and not just the cookies since those are different on each browser. But that was my first thought!

That is very strange  I hope someone else has experience and can answer your question. The next time it happens, maybe write down all of the information about the site and sweepstakes. During dry spells, I have often thought, "I wonder if my email is marked/disqualified because I enter so many sweepstakes." Of course, then I will get a win and forget about it again. :)

I have been banned from Paddling and Tailgaters (I think) with the same type of message. Been entering sweepstakes since the 90's and never had this problem before :(. Hope it is not a trend, although I do remember seeing something a while ago about a sponsor who said they did not want nuisance entries from sweepstakes "hobbyists"..... ugh

Everytime Paddling has a new sweepstakes I get that same message so I try one time and then just give up.
