 Ok, I am not sure if this is for real or not? I need some advice....has anyone every gotten an email with a zip fold attached that say:

Dear customer.

The parcel was sent your home address.
And it will arrive within 7 business day.

More information and the tracking number are attached in document below.

Thank you.

I am not sure if I should open this or if it is a hoas or what? What would you do?

Looks suspicious. I would not open it.

If I think about all the packages I received from Fedex, including ones I ordered/expected and surprise wins, I am sure I have never received such an email.

Beware - my husband and I both received the same email - if you look at the web address when you open the letter you'll notice it does not have fed Ex in it anywhere. I think it's bogus. It's also a zip file and we (fortunately did not open it). I don't think Fed Ex does things like this - ours was also sent at 10:26 at night.

don't open attachments or zip file delete email this is a scam FedEx will not email you. IF YOU ARE TO REALLY RECIEVE A PACKAGE VIA FED-EX THE SENDER WOULD NOTIFY YOU AND SEND A TRACKING NUMBER NOT FED-EX.

It's a Virus - Do NOT slick on anything just delete it. There are several going around FedEx, USPS etc. None of them notify you by email. It's a really evil virus and hard to get rid of

Yes! I got it sent to me about 3 times in one day. It had the same file and everything.
At first I thought it was some kind of prize, but no It's a scam.

I rec'd the same email this week. Fortunately my anti-virus software caught it. My email didn't even have the correct email address listed?

yeah its not real i use to get them not long ago before i was even doing sweeps but my browser would not open them saying the attachment was not safe. sorry

I get them every day in my spam. I am leery of opening anything with an attachment. If they want to send me something in 7 days, I have no problem with that, but I will NOT risk getting a virus!! :nono: :nono:

I've only received two fed-x's ( I think he forgot where I live) and they didn't say anything like that. Just wait and see if it comes.

:sunny: I recieved about twenty of those emails last night and another 5 or 6 today. Do not open. Delete.

I just want to thank you all for all your comments about not opening the Fed EX email. I appreciate all you sweepers and SA for all your support. :headbang:
