Facebook Taking The Fun Out of Sweepstaking For Me

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem but I have found FB to be a problem for me, friends reporting each other's post as spam, fighting over sweeps. This used to be so much fun until I joined and started adding friends, I left the forums and found myself on FB all day with few wins.

Just curious if anyone else is experiencing this or if anyone has a solution since so many sweeps now require FB.

Thanks, I had to just stop today and take time away from sweeping to get it back together and figure out how to restore the fun. I never ever had problems when I participated in this or any other forum.

"Facebook Taking The Fun Out of Sweepstaking For Me"- Yes, I agree with you!!! In the past, I actually got locked out of my facebook two times, and no cell phone to get it back. Anyway, I'm on my third facebook, but this one has lasted awhile. I rarely enter Facebook sweeps, and I figure it is best for me as I never know which "like" on a page will lock me out of Facebook again...I've never won any prize off of Facebook that is not instant, so I'm saving my "likes" for the instants where I have a chance I think...
Anyway, if someone from the companies like Eprize-now HelloWorld- reads message boards I just wish they could make simple form sweeps on the sponsor's sites not facebook, that take a second or two to enter. I only enter the simple form sweeps now everyday anyway and have less than two pages worth on here...it really would be more fun with more of those simple you know what your entering sweeps! Of course, I highly doubt they read our message board lol. Never know! Nooo to facebook sweeps for me too!
I'm not saying u cannot win from Facebook, I know one can win! But, those are my thoughts, Good Luck All

I agree about the drama, but I don't get involved. There are so many great sweeps that I just enter, and go on my merry way. I try to stay FAR away from voting sweeps (unless it is local I suppose.) because that is were the drama seems to be the most. I win too much off FB sweeps to let others' attitudes take that away from me :) Forums seem to have plenty of drama too, I don't have time for that! Too bus entering!

Facebook is a pain because then you have to scroll through all this stuff, and worry about how many likes you have. But I stay away from companies I've never heard of, nothing that wants votes, and I rarely share for an extra entry. I did win a small prize through facebook only a few months ago. And my biggest prize I was sharing on facebook for an extra entry. I'm just a little pickier about what I enter in general, and facebook particularly.

FB is too dang confusing to follow IMO, so I treat it as just another platform for entering sweeps. I did join some groups, but again, too dang confusing to follow, and so I just enter, share, and if an ask pops up while I'm on, I'll use a friends link.

I like simple & clean - busy busy turns me off & is way too distracting for me!

Well I have won great prizes off FB, the NFL Draft participation being the biggest; but overall it is just too much to deal with each day. I now know why winning seems to be so hard for me now, those folk never stop entering.

I'll 2nd that.

I joined FB just to enter an occasional sweep. The profile that I filed out is full of erroneous info and where possible I left fields blank. If my FB acount is ever hacked, they'll get little more than my name , as my account info is either wrong or blank.

After I enter a sweep I immediately "unfollow" the sweep to remove any advertising that it placed. A few months after the sweep ends, I "unlike" it on the activities page.

I've never had any drama on facebook sweeps but all my friends on my account are only sweepers. I've actually won a lot from facebook sweeps. The like limit is annoying though, I wish I could have an unlimited number of likes so that I don't have to go back and unlike pages, its a headache.
