Exhausted

Ok, I just finished doing 300 daily sweep entries and I'm exhausted. I work full time shift work(including weekends) and my job is an hour away. Thought when I got back into sweeping I'd limit myself to 200 a day but I got carried away lol, easy to do. Do many of you work full time jobs? Just curious how others handle working(with no on-line access to the sweeps) and sweeping after work. Your input would be appreciated.....thanks! :sleepy:

I'm interested in this topic too, since I don't know how people who work or have little humans find time to sweep. For me taking a shower is a big daily effort

Also, how do people with dial up do it? There is no way I could be patient enough to enter sweeps on dial up, as I get impatient with cable!!

I'm a stay-at-home mom with two little ones to take care of, a home to take care of, laundry, cooking, etc. I do 700+ daily's. Being well-organized and using the best sweeping tools and tricks enables me to fit it all in.

God bless you lidarkside....700....and I just entered another 40 and am going to head off to bed hahaha.

How about this...I have the free Roboform, how much more useful are the upgrades? Now I really have to go to bed lol...no kidding....will have to check back when I get up. Have a good night everyone and I look forward to your responses.

I'm spoiled now. Just as I would never go back to dialup or move anywhere that didn't have high-speed cable, I would never go back to the free Roboform version.

dial-up? Hah, I remember those days!!!!!!!!!!
I had dial-up , years ago. I could never go back to that once I had a taste of optimum.
"You've come along way, baby!"
sometimes, it (the sweeping) goes rather fast, and other times it seems like it's dragging and I can't wait to get it over with.
although , i do have to say, the past 2 months, I don't think there is nearly half as much to enter in the daily catagory as last year. the dailies only have alittle over 25 pages. last year I remember having to enter through 40 something pages in one day.

Hi earthangel...

.... I'm a working mom (40 hrs a wk), a student (night school), a house to keep up, a newly engaged woman, etc., and my weekdays (cause weekends allow me to enter first thing be4 my day is started) allow me to go to work get home around 4:30, do some dailys chores, check how my daughters day went, kiss the fiance, and pour a glass of merlot, turn the laptop on (if my daughter has 't beat me to it), and get to entering.... I look forward to it everyday... Love this hobby, I'll do my best to make sure I stay with it in some way, shape or form.....

I'm with you Champagne. Being a single mom is the hardest thing. This summer I actually fell asleep at the dinner table. I had been at work all day, came home and did the typical things: laundry, clean house, chores, kids (two of them) dinner and mowed the yard. My oldest daughter took a picture of me asleep beside my dinner plate. They say that God will never give you more than you can handle but I can truly say: I wish he didn't have such a high opinion of me!!!!!!! Sometimes I'm so tired I just want to cry but I suck it up and keep going. It gets easier as kids get older or so I'm told. I guess I would have to say that I am grateful for my full time job with insurance. It seems that these days so many people are losing jobs and benefits. Gee, with that said I better get off the computer and start dinner.

I work FT (40 hours/week), but have no little ones. I sweep mostly on weekends, but when I get home from work, I typically hit my must-haves (HGTV's dream home at the moment), whatever instants I can tolerate losing ( :D ), and a few of the ending sweeps. On the weekends, I usually have time for all of the instants as well as all of the expiring sweeps.

Holy smokes! You really know how to make a guy feel lazy! My eyes get all goofy after a couple of pages and I need a nap. I'm getting tired just typing this. :sleepy:

Thanks everyone for your stories. I know where you single moms are coming from...been there....with three kids and no child support. They are all grown now so I don't have the responsibility of rearing just babysitting grandkids lol. God bless you all....the road does get smoother.....and the rewards are the greatest gift you will ever get in life. Thanks for the suggestion of upgrading roboform...have to check it out....who knows maybe I'll reach 701 lolol. :thewave:

before all of mine were in school I would get up at 4:30 am. do sweeps, drink coffee and get myself ready for the day of drama. robo is a must. It saves sooo much time.

I am on dial up (big groan), have three kids, but am not working outside of the home at the moment. I was working almost 40 hours a week and volunteering over 200 hours a year when I first started this along with a few other pet projects! I have to say that finding roboform has been what has keep me going in the hobby! There are days that I just don't think I could have clicked another button

Somedays when I just don't feel like it though ~ I don't. I just figure that if I burn myself out that I'm not doing myself or anyone else any good!! Then I will get back on a good click and go fine for awhile, just don't burn yourself out and know that noone is there watching you and counting what you are doing. Keep it fun!!! I would check out that upgraded roboform though ~ it is great!!!

Good luck and here is to 800+
