entry problem

I'm getting a yellow star with a red ! when I click on the contest to enter. Sometimes, I come back later and it will not appear and I can enter. Does that mean that the site was busy so it wouldn't allow more entries at that moment or...what?
 
beedyr - when you have an issue, could you please provide the link and/or name of the sweeps you are referring to when you post? I have no way of knowing if this is a sponsor, ISP, or computer problem, and have never heard of "a yellow star with a red !"

Hi Amy...actually the problem was on various sweeps throughout my categories. I just finished trying to enter the book category and had this little devil show up on about half of my selected sweeps. I really don't know how to provide a link. I should learn that as some of my sweeps ask for the link to prove I did what I said I did. In the daily category, it appeared on Leites Culinaria 45 piece Henkels silverware...all misspelled!..and others. Maybe that will help...it could be my new computer and new security program, also.

Ah yes, new computer and new security program - Did you also install an ad/popup/script blocker? That could be the culprit, good luck!

As to a link, do a search of the title/a prize, then C&P the listing when you post

Oh yes, WIN8, designed for mobile users { Metro Start screen } who are used to apps - I'm not so I changed it using tips from:

It's like math - the more you familiarize yourself with & use the tips, the likelier you will know what the next issue solve is!
 
Actually, it's working well for me. I don't do business or complicated stuff on the computer...just sweeps and email and research, so the issues some people have don't apply to me. I had lots of help from the Costco concierge and I have all new security and a new form filler. RoboForm download took down both computers so I had to go "back to the box." Even on the new one! All is well now...except I'm not winning anything! :) Thanks for all your help over the years, Betty
 
Roboform killed your comps? Aha, maybe that's what my lag/crash issue stems from!
