entering for husband..

I have read several posts where folks say they also enter for husband/wife. I'm wondering how?
Do you have another email addy? Don't some sweeps have your pc "cookie" so that it won't accept another entry?
Also, how many of you enter sweeps 2 x like this? thanks!

Also, is there a way to enter facebook sweeps w/o having a facebook acct.? right now I just skip them all..I also skip all blogs b/c I don't have a google identity thing and most seem to want to be "tweeted" and followed etc. I am not on any sociall networking sites and don't really want to be.. Is there a way around? thanx again!!
 
As far as the facebook account I have a facebook account that I use only for sweeps, no friends except sweeps places, and I do not do post ect. I do the same with twitter, as far as entering other people other then yourself in sweeps, my personal opinion is that we should not do this, I think we should only enter ourself and that makes it fair for all, that being said this is just my opinion and each person has to decide this for themselves. I am not knocking the guy who thinks that it is ok to enter themselves, their hubby,aunts,kids,dogs,cats and neighbors. So take it or leave it that is my thinking on it. Mostly have fun, realize we all are individuals and everyone will think a different way is the best way. :laughing: But I do love SA because they are like one big family and overall very supportive of each other and always willing to help.
 
I tried entering for my mom when I started, but I was worried her having a different home address would DQ me. Turned out that was a lie told by the "one entry, NO exceptions" crowd :nono:

Too much misinformation mixed in with tons of good info was my intro to sweeping. I MUCH prefer people leave their opinions/prejudices at home when "helping" you know? :laughing:

As far as who I enter for? Mostly myself, but I help out my guys when needed - my husband works crazy hours (7 on before he gets 1, 2 1/2, or 4 days off) so I check all the new sweeps for limits (per HH, 21+, license, etc) and bookmark in FF the ones they can enter.

IMHO, the sponsors are more concerned with people entering numerous times for themselves, with multiple email addys, than if mom or dad enters for their kids/spouses/etc.

Like anything, there is potential for abuse - like entering everyone in your neighborhood, all your family/friends, etc.

Letting other sweepers know that the rules say 1 per HH is a LOT different than telling other sweepers they are breaking the rules if they enter for someone else in their HH. Most people will be afraid to admit they do, thinking they could be DQ'ed, or that others would disapprove :crazytongue:
 
Jax - I saw that "evolution" in BINGO too. If you had a bingo it HAD to be on the last called # - I think the "it's too darn hard to follow the rules" crowd got their way & now you DON'T have to bingo on the last called #

Seems the same happened with sweeps? :scratch:
