A Good Coupon Haul Feels like a WIN to me!

You guys, I am so excited and proud of myself for something I did yesterday. I got everything pictured above for under $5. I have never really used coupons in my life but after watching a few YouTube videos by ‘one cute couponer’ I was inspired to try my luck couponing at Walgreens. And I am totally excited with the results of my first haul!

Have any of you ever tried couponing before? It can take a bit of time to get started but once you stock up on some of your necessities, I imagine you really save a lot of money in the long run. At 26 years old I figured I must be considered kind of uncool for being interested in this, but it turns out my friends were just as interested in it as I was. Who doesn’t like saving money?

So I just want to share some of my newfound knowledge with you guys and what I learned about how to save money at Walgreens and get Walgreen‘s cash back. You might even want to try it for yourself!

So, really, the secret ingredient to my haul was digital coupons and putting in an online pick up order. I like to put in my orders online anyway because then I don’t get distracted by things I don’t need and it’s just quicker to run into the store, grab my bags, and leave. You also want to take advantage of Bogo deals and products that offer you extra Walgreen‘s cash rewards back. In this order I believe the Olay and Floss picks were the best cash back deals.

Here’s a breakdown of what I paid:

Then I received $26.46 in Walgreens cash back for this transaction AND as a special promotion I got a $5 off any purchase coupon at the register. That takes my total down to a whopping….

$1.40

So on top of sales and coupons check for items in the weekly ad that are offering you Walgreens Cash back for a purchase. You can continue to coupon and use the cash back as a buffer to bring down prices on sale items!

Make sure to check out the digital coupons directly on Walgreens website too 😊 you’ll save money and have fun doing it!!

I know this isn’t sweepstakes related but gosh, it felt like a win to me!!

Happy sweeping everyone! (And leave any coupon tips & tricks below if you have any)

Personal best was tax only for about $20 worth of personal care items at the grocery store back in the 90's when they still doubled coupons!

I just hit another great deal today!! I also got about $15 in Cash back rewards and a $5 register rewards coupon.

Girl couponing rocks as well, I remember one time I got so many free coupons from sweepstaking and the lady at check out was like wow you rock! It takes patience and learning the couponing rules to each store! I personally love shoprite and follow shoprite groups on fb! But you can score deals everywhere! Also message the companies for coupons Turkey hill always sends coupons for one! My all time best 40 laundry detergent for $12.00, i remember that so well cause money was tight and we had laundry detergent for years! Now I try to donate to my local food pantry! Everybit can help others too:)

CVS has a great program too(we don't really go to Walgreens much), for $48 annually you can get a monthly $10 to spend in store or online. That's like $6 free each month, and you can use it towards items that give you CVS Extra Bucks(which we always do). Plus their app coupons and manufacturers coupons can be stacked. Additionally, our CVS has an awesome clearance section!!
