When these 3 have sweepstakes, they try to hook you into a subscription. Their entry form usually has a small button to opt out of the subscription part. They must have slipped one past me though. So now, aprox a week later, they send me an e-mail saying my bill is due. So I logged onto their account management site, and I THINK I canceled it all. Sais to disregard any bills, etc. So I hope its all resolved, but it was really sneaky of them to do that, so now I'm worried they'll push a bill through anyway. Has anyone else been through this, with them? Did they try to pull any tricks after the cancellation?

I've never had any problems with getting magazines I've acidentally subbed to canceled. Sometimes the magazine will just arrive and I just write cancel and return it and that was the end of it.

I don't think you'll have any issues.

They are STILL trying to send me NEW bills again, even though I went through the whole cancellation process on their web page, and then AGAIN via e-mail with them. They might not be an outright scam, but its SHADY to keep sending these BS bills to people, hoping that someone will slip up, or accidentally pay them. Or maybe stack them up on someone that doesn't know how to cancel or contact them. In this day and age, it's a shameful way to do business. Especially for well known magazine brands.
