Cleaning Carpet

Oh, how I hate to clean my carpet! My living rooms are huge. I don't know how to work the Kirby. I bought the wrong shampoo for the Kirby. My demo DVD is missing. I bent my nail back trying to switch the Kirby from vacuum to carpet cleaner. The only thing I hate worse is dusting. I've already dusted everything trying to avoid the Kirby. I guess I could google. Or I could wait and have hubby show me how to do it. That way he ends up doing it :whistle:
 
OOOOOhhhhh, when I saw the heading....well, never mind. Anyway, I definitely vote on the hubby option. Of course, like any male he will use it as a "bargaining" tool at some point... :popcorn:
 
wait till hubby gets home. :laughing: I hate carpet. Hate it :cussing: In our old house I had all the carpet pulled up and pergo floors put in. I did clean the carpets though before the guy came to pull them up. My husband said I had lost my mind.

I paid really good money for this berber carpet. Now, I hate it. I wish I had just done hard wood like we were going to do. We'll be doing the boys' rooms and our room next summer. But until then, the carpet is calling. I've put it off since last Christmas :laughing:

They were dirty. :laughing: I didnt realize how dirty till we started moving some of the big furniture and I thought oh, no way! He is not going to see my carpets this way. :laughing:

Finished spot-cleaning. Why oh why did I think cotton candy blue would be a good choice for color? The good thing is I don't have to spot-treat for color-fastness. I was able to just douse that stuff on!!

I use to clean before the women came to clean my house. Except Gladys hit me once and told me to stop doing her job.

That's why I never enter those maid sweeps. I always tell hubby I'd be darned if some stranger comes to my house to clean!

She cleaned my parents house and my aunt and uncles house. She's very much like family. Now she's older and can't do it. So she sits with David and I and talks while her daughters do the cleaning. Very lovely lady that has been more of a grandmother than a stranger. I'm really lucky. :love:

Hubby helped me clean the carpets for a while...while drinking beer and grilling some deer steak with the neighbor. He kept missing spots so I told him to just forget it. If I wanted a tipsy carpet cleaner I'd have done it myself :laughing: I'll be doing it later. Much later!!

On a funny note (well, to me it was!) My sister paid for carpet for her whole house.. and then found out she had asthma. :laughing:

It hasn't bothered her but she is allergic to cats.. and has 4 :nono:

And red, shut up about my newest additions. :nono:
 
But Michael, he's obsessive about shoes!! He has every bit of 20 pair of shoes!! And he is fashion-competent! That man can coordinate better than I can! He surprised me the other day when I was getting dressed. I had put on some powder blue mini shorts and he goes, "Sweetie, that color blue isn't you. It's rather hideous." And then he quickly adds upon seeing me leer at him , "Baby, you wouldn't want me to lie to you, would you? You wanna go out there looking like a fool? Come here. I know the perfect shorts for that top."

I was like, "Wow! Yeah! You're right!" in my proud wifey, I'm an idiot voice :laughing:

My BIL is like that. a big macho Italian guy can cordinate the house or his wife's clothes better tahn she can. :laughing:

She's better at Decorating than he is but her taste in clothes sucks. :whistle:
