I'm following up on this now, and sending a complaint form and supporting evidence to the Minnesota attorney general's office. In case V-Local is tracking this thread, you will soon be hearing from your local authorities about this matter. Get your official response ready, because here they come!

I feel this is a better way to handle it than suing them as a first response. Good thing I kept every piece of correspondence. I can just print it as my evidence.

Thanks for the comments and support. The hype they subjected me to made me feel very misled and let down, and they're just not allowed to just forget about it after promising to pay thousands in prizes. I will post here when I have a status update.
