how long did it take to get your first good win ( cash, trip car, appliance)?
My first win 3 years ago was a $250 gift card to Rite Aid. I took a 2 1/2 year hiatus and started back with the hobby this spring and in June I won my biggest prize, a $1700 stay at a resort in Minnesota. I've also won $1000 cash in August, several $100 gift cards, a lot of free product coupons and a lot of other miscellaneous stuff.
do u ever get random prizes in the mail that you did not know about?
Not as often as some, and not as big as some, but yes. A lot of companies will post a winner's list somewhere and don't send any notification, so things show up. Sometimes the ones I do know about still surprise me though, because there can be a long delay between a win and when the prize actually shows up.
is the oneclick website bad (spam) ?
I avoid it. I'm fairly picky about which sites I trust, and that is on my no list.
the "hits" what is that? is it better to enter the sweeps with low "hits" i assume its how many ppl have entered through SA?
Its just the count of who has clicked through from here... I've won stuff with a low hit count from here and with a high one. It can give a "grain of salt" estimation of the popularity of a sweep, but it's obviously not painting a complete picture as there are a lot of other ways someone can land on and enter the sweeps linked from here.
how many sweeps do you enter in a day...is 100 a lot?
There are some good tips in the newbie section on how to gradually ramp up without getting overwhelmed.
I don't have a set limit for a day, my base is to get through instants, which is usually ~100 that I'm actively entering. I usually try to get through as many of the newly listed for the day stuff and if I don't enter them, I'll at least pre-screen and sort them into my categories for later entry and if I've been slacking and not staying on top of things, I rummage through the expiring stuff to make sure I'm not going to miss out on anything. I'm pretty close to "caught up" right now, so I'm mostly doing instants and hitting new stuff as it comes in and spending a couple hours a day with it.
