Caffeine Eprize sweeps

I personally HATE them and pass them up. I have a couple questions though. Does anyone know if the grand prizes (monthly) are instants as well? If not, it might be worth a shot to enter here and there to be entered in the GP drawings.

TIA

Personally I can't stand Caffeine Sweeps. If you look at the end dates of those sweeps you'll notice that most of them have the same ending date. Each sweep seems to only be a different entry point to the same grand prize. Plus most are not RoboForm friendly. When I first started sweeping I used to enter Caffeine Sweeps. Never won a thing and soon came to the conclusion that I was waisting my time. One thing that I like about SA is that they don't seem post Caffeine Sweeps on a regular basis.

SA does post Caffeine sweeps. They usually only come out about once a year. These sweeps were created so that the "little guy" (small businesses) can promote themselves like the big guys. They pool the prizes between themselves so they can offer bigger prizes like the bigger sponsors. The winner of the $10,000 will be picked on or around 04/07/08 among all the sweepstakes entries. I have also seen people post winning on the instants.

These sweeps are one of the easiest to enter. You just need to copy your email once and keep pasting it in the space thereafter on the rest of them. You'll just have to type your password.

One thing I noticed that must make winning harder for caffeine, they are valid not only in US and Canada, but in UK and Mexico. I've had several instances where my computer shut down when I was attempting to enter a caffeine sweeps. It may just be a coincidence, but that site has rubbed me the wrong way too

I also copy & paste my password into each field after I do the copy & paste of my e-mail. I usually do 10 at a time. Doesn't take that long - you're right.

I just hate how sloowwwww it is! I know there are some cool prizes like video cameras and such so I have been wondering if those are also instant wins.

It depends on your computer and what kind of service you're using. I have high-speed cable, and they open real quick. If you have a high-speed connection, then the problem could be that your computer is cluttered and needs to be cleaned out.

Just remember it only takes one entry to win. If they pick yours-$10,000.
You have to be in it, to win it!
Someone is going to win the $10,000.

We know that people do win the instants- I've won on the last 2 rounds. I haven't won any this time around. But, people are winning this time around, i've seen them posting. Keep playing.

The thought of the possibility of $10,000 is enough to keep me entering!!!!!!!!!

Exactly!!! :headbang:

Pick me, pick me, lmao!!!

Seriously, I think it's all a matter of what we have time for/can tolerate - I enter them when I feel like it, otherwise, I skip them for the day or tell myself I'll go back later. Funny - I always seem to forget to go back  :crazytongue:

Me, too, I do not force myself, otherwise, it's no longer fun. there are times , I enter faithfully, and if I'm having a bad day, I step away from my computer, being cooped up infront of a screen , brings me down, when the weather is warm , i try to be out as much as possible.

I've won.
I can't say I've never won. I don't win as big as other people on the site ,never won the thousand dollars or the cruise, trip, but, I'm still holding out. I've got my fingers crossed and my sights set this year.

I have dial up, they don't have cable or DSL services out here  I miss my cable and dsl I had in CA. I hope they run lines out here soon.

I feel for you. The flash sites must drive you crazy. I remember having dialup. I could never go back to that which is why where we eventually end up moving is going to be greatly influenced by the internet service in the area. It might actually be influenced by whether they have Optimum Online in the area now that I'm used to the newer higher speed cable.

I used Optonline for about a year, and Verizon FIOS is better. Really.

I personally dont enter caffiene sweeps they seem so hard to win and I dont see a lot of winners from them --- My computer froze up and blacked out with them a couple of times so, I stay away. Good luck to those who do enter.

Optimum Online had recently upgraded to higher speed cable. They're now one of the fastest cable connections you can get. It's a very noticable difference too.

You can compare speeds here:

http://www.optimum.com/online/why/faster.jsp

Note how fast they're "boost" option is.

When my promotional price ended, and they increased the price to $50 a month I got kind of p.o'd which is why I made the change. I don't buy the cable TV, so they hit me hard for the single service. Also, the mail server kept going down for hours about once every two weeks. Since I made the switch, I haven't missed them at all.

We never had any problems with the mail server going down, but we do subscribe to the triple play package (cable/digital television, telephone, and internet); so, it comes out cheaper than paying for each one individually. Now, I just need to find a new wireless company. I feel like we're being raped by Verizon Wireless. We're paying way too much for that, and the service is lousy. We get too many dropped calls and out of service area messages.

I do have a lot of problems with flash so sometimes I just skip over the flash sweeps here and there. I open up the page and walk away to do something else when I enter, have the same problem with myspace, takes me so long to load pages that I don't get to visit profiles very often.

I also don't miss getting "kicked off" which happened when there were too many people online (server overload). I don't think it's as bad as it used to be since alot of them made improvements in that area, but I know my father still gets kicked off now and then; and he does have cable in the area!
