Caesars total rewards

A few weeks ago I tried to redeem my points for a gift card on their site.(someone had made a post a month earlier explaining how to do it that I had saved.)
When I would try to complete the transfer of points onto an Amazon gc I received " please visit one of our properties to verify your identification" message. I emailed them and asked if I could send them a copy of my DL and received a response telling me that I had to VISIT one of their properties to verify my age in person. Then I would be able to use my points for purchases on their site.
Their closest casino to me is 6 hrs away, and the points are only good for 6 months. What a waste of time....

Right, this is them using their marketing $$$ on a promo to get people to visit their casinos, so it makes sense - what doesn't? Not clarifying in the rules that you had to be a member that joined in person, but I'm sure that's covered in their terms & conditions, and by the mail in alternative.
That's why - while I'll usually skip sweeps that want me to sign up/join their rewards program, where there are always hoops to jump thru/restrictions/etc. - I knew I had probably signed up at least to one of their properties in the past 15 years of living here in LV
It is not the reward points, it is one of the instant wins for an actual gift code, I have one for Home Depot and one for Macys. I have not tried the Macys one, but the Home Depot one will not work and I went thru their site when I tried to redeem it. Sent a reply via the winning email, but have heard nothing yet.

i followed my Macy's instructions and didn't get it to work.
what a bummer, spent all that time for nothing, the gift codes don't work and U have to visit a location to redeem points. Another useless instant win.
