I won one of 84 First Prizes of a "Kamado-style grill" (MSRP $935.00). It turned out to be a Lifesmart 24" Kamado Grill (SCS-K24B). My husband and I already have a small Big Green Egg so we had planned on just selling it. Not complaining because if it doesn't sell as a Christmas present, it will sell come BBQ season. But, for the time being, we now have a 242lb carton on a wooden pallet sitting in our garage because we are unable to move it. Winning Contestant problems.

What would you ask for it, and what state you in ?
 
Congrats! I received the grill also. What amount are you claiming on taxes? Seems to be out of stock every where, but cheapest I could find was $705.99 at home depot.
 
Nice win, love grill wins won the big green egg years ago and this year a nice gas one which is great for winter
 
congrats :) i had a Blue Moon one that i won sit in garage between our two cars last winter, sat there over 6 months til hubby got someone to help him move it to the deck to assemble. only used it once so far.

I'll report whatever is on the 1099-MISC they send but fortunately, my husband and I are retired, so winnings don't really have any effect on the amount of tax we have to pay. Last year my husband won $10,000 worth of Bassett outdoor furniture and he didn't have to pay any additional in taxes but he was right on the limit.
