I've won a couple of things One from Momlogic and one from Stylebakery. I guess these are considered blogs. I don't enter just everyone of them though. Already have enough email junk. If they are offering a prize you really want I think they are worth it becaue a lot of people do dislike enter them so your chances are better at a win.

:scratch: O.k. I despise them! I can't stand them. They rank below the Caffeine sweeps in my book! They are a PITA! GRRRRRRRRRR!

Many of them of them are mommy sites offering alot of baby and small children prizes which I can definitely use. I'll tell you one thing, though, entering a simple comment is alot easier than what some of these sweeps make you go though to enter!

I can't stand them either! I hardly ever enter them because I really hate having to leave comments, or send a separate e-mail, scour the site for an answer, or tell them WHY I want the prize. Big pain.
Actually, I run a blog sweepstakes (www.luckysweeper.com... and next month I swear the prize will be better!)... but I hate blog sweepstakes so I've made mine a simple form. :cheers:

NO! I hate those rotten little things. I am a lazy sweeper. I want things simple and easy. Heck, I want a sweeps where I can win a person to enter for me! :headbang: :laughing:
The "why I want the prize" has got to be the dumbest question alive!! I never freakin know what to put. I'm always tempted to put something like...well, I hate the prize, therefore I want to win it so I can smash it to smithereens.

Those are too cute. Thank you for the contest. I entered, I however used my po box on this sweep. If that DQ's me, I totally understand.
I've tried to enter a few but they are too time consuming...they all seem to load SO SLOWLY on my computer (and I have a quick computer!). I really wish we could have a separate category for blog sweepstakes. I wouldn't mind doing some when I have the time, but when I am trying to hurry through my new sweeps and I happen to click on one of these (that I didn't recognize as a blog sweeps), I just dread it...it really slows me down.
So how about it SA - can we pleaaaseeeee do a separate category for blog sweeps? It would really eliminate clicking on them if you don't want to enter them. There are a lot of people who don't like to enter them (like the DVD sweeps), and it could streamline doing their regular sweeps...just my thought

I'd suggest that while it's loading, just keep entering sweepstakes in other open windows. That's what I do. I really dread anymore categories. It's already starting to look like mumbo jumbo on the sweepstakes page. My eyes are starting to go crossed!
