Sadly, the worst prize I ever won was airline tickets. Ended up not using them. Long story short, flights from where I am to where I wanted to go take two hours. I can drive it in 16 hours. Because my prize was a voucher that apparently had all kinds of rules and blackouts, I could not book a direct flight. In fact, the shortest flight route they could give me involved three different airports and transfers and lay over. The longest one was five different airports and would have taken over 24 hours! The lady on the phone was so apologetic but she said this is common for airplane ticket prizes. I asked about donating them to a charity for patient transport or something similar and she said the same rules would apply and charities do not want that kind of voucher.

So all that to say, be careful with your voucher. I paid taxes on a prize that was useless to me. (Yes, I found out later I could have returned the voucher and not had to pay taxes, but not something I knew at the time.)
