biggest win but declined

I was just notified today that I won on the turkish air facebook sweeps. The prize was 2 tickets on turkish air to turkey, admission to the world golf tournament for all 4 days, hotel for 3 nights and breakfast,lunch and dinner for the whole trip but unfortunately it was such short notice so i had to decline. maybe someone here will get the win. I did get a package in the mail though from henkel with a bunch of products and a 250.00 dicks sporting good store and a 50.00 virtual gift card for childrens clothing store. so at least it wasnt all bad.
 
That would have been a great trip (if you didn't get attacked by terrorists). Nice win on the other one though. I've learned to look at the rules when a trip is involved, and don't bother entering if it's short notice since it's unlikely my wife would be able to get the time off. Unfortunately, I pass on a whole lotta trips I would love to try to win, not to mention you need a passport for the kind of trip you won - and they can take a while to get - even if you expedite it.
 
:sunny: Congratulations on getting the win. It's a shame you can't use it. That would have been a long way to travel for just 3 nights. Glad you received a nice surprise to make up for not being able to go.

It would have been a nice trip if you were prepared in advance but how many of us can go on short notice? I certainly couldn't especially going out of the country. Enjoy your other wins tho and congratulations!!! :cheers:
