A few years ago I used an autofill program (think it was roboform?) because I read that they were fine to use, but THEN I read someplace that it is possible to be disqualified from some sweepstakes for using them so I stopped. Its tiring entering without one, but I don't want to risk being disqualified so I've kept at typing all my info in! Can anyone tell me if there is a general rule with these programs when it comes to entering sweepstakes and are they okay to use? Thanks!

It's a form filler, nothing more. Most sponsors get that and don't consider robo "automatic entry" - they are referring to "bots" or programs that enter FOR you.

However, some do say it is a macro, and therefore not allowed. Every person has to make the decision for themselves on whether or not to use Robo.
