ARGGH! The captchas are evolving!

I haven't entered magazine sweeps in a while; so when I went to enter a few today (Life & Style and In Touch Weekly), to my dismay I found they are evolving into ads and surveys! Not only are they required for every prize, which makes no sense to me, I think it's enough to enter ONE when we register; but they are ads and even SURVEY captchas.

At least with the survey captcha i didn't have to change the already selected "somewhat possible" answer and was able to just hit enter. Now how does that prove I'm not a bot? These new captchas don't even do their captcha jobs. fired!

Sigh, thanks for reading, I feel better now; back to sweeping!
 
Good grief, I just got around to do dailies and these new captchas are going to add even more time to my pusuit of riches!!
I got cute ones though at Intouch...fuzzy wuzzy and button button.

I have noticed though that some captchas will be accepted if you are CLOSE to the right letters. Sometimes there is just one I can't read and I use to get stuck (even with refreshing) and frustrated. It seems to be accepting a couple of wrong letters per captcha these days.I don't like the ads though!

Sometimes, you don't even have to enter anything!!! :crazytongue: I always try that 1st JIC :whistle:
 
Most of them, I find you can type just about anything in and it will go through. I think they just want to make sure a human being is entering.

I tried your suggestion on the "gear up and go" sweep, but it didn't work. Next I typed the word "anything" but that didn't work either. Next time I'll try the word "something", maybe that'll work. Perhaps I should use "nothing" as that's what my winnings have been lately. LOL :crazytongue:

PS: Or, I could use %$%#&, ya think? :laughing:
 
I agree that the captchas are frustrating on some sweeps - the ones you have to answer the question never seem to accept an answer but the ones where you copy the words exactly usually work. They can be a pain though...
 
Oh me, too- I was frustrated at those!! They make you log in, for goodness sakes! Oh well. I am trying to get something for nothing! Yes, it sure adds time now.
 
I can't do it! It's driving me crazy trying to get these phrases through! And the sad thing is they have some of the best prize packages. Why did they change them? I wouldn't think it would be because of spammers since we have to log on. Ohh well, it's not like there aren't hundreds of other great sweeps to enter. Is it just me or are they getting better every week? Good luck everyone!
