app that eliminates graphics

this is my first post, so please be kind. i remember reading somewhere a program that will just show the text on a page not the graphics. does any one know how i do this? i enjoy reading every one's postings especially the winners list. as a matter of fact i think i am in the forums more than entering the sweeps. :popcorn:

If you mean for SA, go to your PROFILE and click on Look and Layout Preferences

And select:

Don't show users' avatars.
Don't show users' signatures.
