Anyone else in a sweep slump?

I need fairy dust,,,,,I win small things from instant wins but nothing in months on regular sweeps and I enter many daily

Slumping here too! :cry: This time last year I was at about $6,000 in cash and prizes, this year only almost at $300! Please send some of that magic fairy dust my way too! :sunny:
 
Oh wait Maybe there is something to this whining thing. Just minutes after posting this I won an instant! The Twizzers summer fun pack! So I am back to whine some more! Waaahhhh!! :laughing:
 
thanks for the well wishes, getting better, just have to take it slow. Love the tinkerbell. :sunny: I've been in my slump, but this morning had a call from one of the total assault and won to tickits to the balooza music fest in new jersey. would have been so much fun, but had to turn it down because I have to be in indianapolis saturday. I don't think that I would have had time to get there anyway by the time they sent the tickets to me. It's this saturday. :cry:
 
Thanks for all the encouragement and fairy dust! We all have dry spells sometimes. As a hobby, sweeping can be very rewarding - and very frustrating. The slumps are definitely a drag, but there's nothing like a surprise win to pick you back up again.

If there's no time to Fedex them overnight to you, they have you pick them up at the "Will Call" window when you get there. :)
 
oh well, I told them to pass them on to someone else already. they said that's what they will do as long as it was ok with me. It would have been a lot of fun though. It's good to know that maybe a bit of the fairy dust landed on me though. It'll pick up people, hang in there all. :sunny:
 
Send some dust my way please. I've never won anything but coupons, a t-shirt, and a gift card to Red Robin. But I have won absolutely nothing this year. Some days I just don't even bother. It's not so much discouragement as I've decided not to worry about it. If I'm busy I don't beat myself up if I don't feel like it. I got to where it was like a job I had to do.
 
Please include me in the fairy dust lineup. Aside from a coupon I won for $10 off a $50 purchase, I've been in a slump so long I started researching to see if I was blacklisted.

I did okay last year on Coke Sweepstakes's instant wins where the $20 card really had $25. on it, but then I stopped winning and since last July it's been a real dry spell. omg, it's almost a year.
 
You're definately not alone! I've been an avid sweeper for 16 years, enter sweeps 8 hours a day and average 600-800 entries per day and over 250,000 entries per year. I've done fairly well in the past (although I still have never won a grand prize, a trip or anything over $500 in value in the entire 16 years) but here in 2010 I have not won ANYTHING! ZERO! ZILCH! NADA! Not a single win of any kind. It is absolutely mind boggling, expecially when I see people posting that they have won 7 times already on a single sweeps! I first blamed it on an obvious huge drop in the number of prizes being offered due to the recession, but 6 months without a win despite dedicating so much time defies explanation. I truly need to have my head examined to explain why I'm still doing this! I hope your luck turns around, but I don't have much faith left for my own. :cry:
 
I too am in a major slump and have been now for a few months. This is really my first major longtime slump since I began sweeping like 5-6 yrs ago. I have Never hit for anything huge...max. was $500 win a few times. I am looking forward to hitting for something big as well......
