Anybody else mad at Subway?

...I know people have been having a hard time redeeming their chip wins.....I just tried to redeem my movie ticket I won from them last night....took it to a participating theater so hubby and I could go see Get Smart for our date night......the theater acted like they had no clue what it was, and then finally after standing in line and causing everyone behind me to be somewhat irriated for having to wait so long, they told me it was "declined"....SO....I ended up having to pay to go to the movie anyway....(the movie is HYSTERICAL by the way...) Has anyone else had a hard time redeeming their movie ticket?
Im kind of ticked off about it though....kind of seems to be a pattern with me lately...that dinner and movie win I got from Jergens a couple months ago ended up being a bust as well.....no movie theater in my town will accept it, and the edining cash has no restaurants in my area :fired: Sigh...I really need a win that is, you know, REAL!

What type of movie theather was it? I had mine declined at Regal Cinema's here in Virginia (Regal has declined every movie ticket (4 or 5) that I have won.

i know how you feel
but when these new movies come out
they have no copons or passes
i think that is a copon
wait a couple weeks
then you can use it

Yeah, it was a Regal Cinema here as well....I dont normally have a hard time getting my movie tix accepted, but usually they arent printed off either, I usually use the hard copy ones that come in the mail, and they dont seem to have a hard time with those...ones off the printer seem to throw them  Oh well, at least I got to have a good laugh last night, even if I did have to pay for it.

Be sure to email and complain to Subway. Otherwise they will probably think nothing is wrong. Maybe they may might even offer you a substitute prize.

I don't like the printer coupons either since it seems like many businesses won't accept them.

I've read where MANY people are having trouble redeeming movie tickets and the coupons. I can't help but think Subway knew better. What theatre regularly accepts printed-off-the-computer movie tickets? None that I know. Those instant wins from Subway suck!

Sorry about your troubles but glad you had a good time. I would have turned to the sighing, grumbling peeps waiting in line and told them to pipe down and/or bite me, but that's just me.

LOL, thats me as well  If I hadnt been so mad about the stupid ticket I probably would have! :booty"

...and I have to agree about the wins from Subway sucking.....Im usually pretty grateful for any win I get, but I am frankly sick of winning chips....its just my opinion, but if you are going to give out such piddly prizes to EVERYONE (do you know of anybody who HASNT won chips on the game? LOL) then it really isnt much of a win....and vegetable chips on top of that!!!!....the least they could do is make it a coupon for chips of your personal choice....

I get grumpy when Im in a slump....the sweeps gods are going to stick it to me if I dont get a better attitude!!

Emailing subway is doing NO good. They are forwarding the emails to eprize and they are responding with generic emails saying they will and are being accepted, print everything out, blah blah. If you already have done this and tried there is nothing else you can do.

I say – Keep emailing them. If they only get one or two complaints nothing will happen; however if they see a trend something might. I would include that you are going to tell all your friends and family about the bogus prizes in their contest. And since you have proof that the prizes are not be accepted (by you going and having them declined) you might even contact your local newspaper so they can do an article on the “Bogus Subway Sweepstakes.”

That's good!! That's real good!!

hope yall hear something. I stopped playing. That instant is annoying. I gave the movie ticket I won away and im not much for chips sooo

I had the same thing happen to me in Georgia at Regal Cinemas on June 20. We ended up just leaving because it really made my husband mad. I don't even want to try to take them anywhere else. This is really a bad reflection on Subway.

I'll sure pitch in, too. Our Subway won't take the coupons although here (GA) the movie ticket was honored. What's the email addy to Subway? Did you just contact them on their Home page or do you have a specific one? Let's start the email campaign/rally! :cussing:

Yes she gave it to me. Thanks agian

They worked fine, we actually went and saw a different movie. You shouldn't have problems with it. They put the number in, that was on the paper, and it worked fine. Plus it said you can use it for any movie. Not just Get smart.

I posted this in the general section but am reposting it here just for FYI---just to let everyone know I wrote a "strongly worded letter" to eprizefullfillment about my movie ticket not being accepted--told them its pretty disappointing to get a "win" that ends up causing me to spend money I wasnt planning on spending, and to find out my win was "declined"....got a cheesy unhelpful reply from THEM, but I also got an email from someone else from Hollywood movie money who told me that if I will mail her my certificate and the movie stubs that I had to pay for, she would "make it right for me" Ill let you know what that ends up meaning, but I just thought I would tell you what I did, if anyone else wants to make some noise...start with emailing eprize and see if you get the same reply.

Good! I hope they "make it right" for you, troisanges!!

I've been inundated with Subway chip wins, but have deleted more that have expired than I've been able to use. However, the two stores I've visited have honored them, even tho they seem to know nothing about the promotion and the fact prospective winners and buyers may be coming through their door. Loosely organized throughout the system to say the least. I still like their sandwiches.....lol.
