Affidavit sent, now what?

Hubby won a HOF prize. He sent in the Affidavit, certified mail. It was delivered last thursday. For those of you who have won big, what happens next?

He hasn't spoken with anyone from the company yet. Affidavit was mailed to him regular mail, no phone call or email. We are just waiting on pins and needles. This is the family's first big win.

since they received it , they should be checking for eligability and then either contacting you again or sending the prize , good luck :cheers:
 
Now the wait begins! Sometimes the prize comes right away, sometimes not. The first big prize I won, I returned the affy overnight and it took 6 months to receive the prize.

I hope you have the quick experience, but it will take some time.

congrats on the HOF win.. hopefully it wont take to long. Both affys I received I got the prizes within a couple of weeks.
 
If ePrize was the sponsor, they will email your husband when the papers arrive. You should expect to wait at least 2 mos. to get the prize.

I would double check with the sponsor that the paperwork was received and after that? You wait for the prize. Depending on the rules, prize and sponsor it could be filled quickly or take months. Good luck!
 
Thank you all for you information and advice. I had my husband call today to make sure the right person received his Affy. They did, said they would be getting on it soon. According to the rules they have one year to deliver the prize.

This just goes to show that you just never know when you will win. I have entered thousands of sweeps in the past couple of years with no big win, with small wins few and far between but hubby has entered maybe 50 in his entire life and he has won twice now.

I don't want to say who the win was from or what it is until everything is settled but I will give a hint. The sweep expired on valentines day and Yes, I am the one.
