I just recently won a jacket/backpack sweepstakes. I recieved a Affidavit via email. My question is: Do all Affidavit need to be NOTORIZED even if it doesn't state to do so?

I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you
 
tugboat29 - only the sponsor can answer that for sure, but if they don't tell you that you have to...
 
Last year I had a win that didn't require that the affidavit be notarized. That was a first for me as every other affidavit I've received required that it be notarized.

If you can't contact the Promoter for an answer then I'd get it Norarized as an abundance of caution. The Notary has or should have a rubber ink stamp for use on a document that doesn't have the Notary acknowledgement pre-printed on the document. Google "Notary stamp wording" to see samples of these stamps.
