A SA system post for those crossing over

The organization is different here from the other place. Both sites have a good sweeps presentation system, but lots of people find themselves confused when changing sites, as I was at first. Once you get used to the SA system it's very easy to manage. This is my method of entering and saving.

Saved sweeps are distributed into daily, instants, 24's, et al separate lists. I run down the list of instants, do those then move down the list of dailies, then 24's and do those. I always sort them by expiration date ascending before proceeding. This is something you need to remember to do, as they're automatically listed by date at the other place. Admin added a sort sticky per my request, so they stay in place during your visit. Once I'm finished entering something, I delete it, or you can keep it and they will show up as an expired sweep. You have the option of deleting expired sweeps if you want.

Once I'm finished with dailies, I go to the new sweeps from yesterday and enter them. If I don't enter it, I save it. You always get a java pop up when navigating away from the page without saving, a definite plus that the other site doesn't have. After saving these, I go to my saved 1x sweeps and finish entering the ones I didn't enter.

The notes feature is a terrific one which helps you make a note of how many times you entered, when, or whatever you want to write to yourself. There's also a sweeps notification system, which lets you email a note to yourself at a predetermined time to remind you to enter something.

You may want to develop your own system, but this one works for me.

No problemo. Maybe some other people can post on how they made the transition. My system is my system, and other people may have good ideas.
