A melted mess

I got a surprise delivery yesterday from Lindt Chocolates. Not sure which contest it was but it said it great big letters on the box that it was perishable. I guess it sat in UPS's warehouse all weekend. It's sitting in the freezer now. This makes my fourth win!

I think it was the second one. There wasnt a note or anything.

I entered both but there were no bars mostly truffles.

After freezing them they taste fine. :crazytongue:

and yes it should have been kept cool. Most chocolate is shipped in refrigated trucks from May through October, someboy goofed.

Congratulations on your tasty (albeit, messy!) win! UPS has notoriously been an issue for me when it comes to perishable things, the worst, live lobster. . .ruined a planned dinner party and when they finally did arrive, oh, my. . .there was no salvation for the lobsters or UPS! So glad yours was able to be saved!
