A day of surprises!

The missed PM that prompted me to write this thread http://www.sweepstakesplus.com/smf/...ok-a-missed-win-cautionary-tale-t80337.0.html got a response today that they will honor the win.

The organizer took my order over email instead of issuing me a certificate, so I won and redeemed $50 with http://store.leviton.com/ when I assumed I lost out because I missed the message from 2 months ago. Big thanks to Leviton for that and proof again that it doesn't hurt to ask!

Then I came home to 4 packages when I was only expecting one, two were from the swath of Goodreads wins I had at the start of the month (one I knew was arriving today thank you UPS alert).

The other two were surprises, A Maybelline Great Lash lots of lashes mascara from LuckyMag (there were 1600 winners of this one) and a large bottle of bubble bath from Realbeauty.com!
 
I read your message you originally posted and learned something too! I then went to check my email there and I did have a win notification asking for my paypal email b/c I won some contest where they would put $25 in my paypal account. I emailed the guy back but never got a response. Should I do something else? Maybe post it on the page where I won? What do you think? I'm glad it worked out for you!!!! I hope I can have the same luck!!! Thanks for posting or I would have never known that!!!! Thanks!!!
 
It took almost a week before I got a response, so I'd give them some time before posting something on their wall... I'd probably go back and look for rules/announcements around the sweep and decide how to proceed based on the info there.
