Just turned in paperwork & got all the details of what I won. My biggest win ever!

Beyond thrilled since I haven't won anything in such a long time. Honestly, I got so discouraged I stopped entering for several months & just started back last week. So this was a huge shock & a trip we are super excited to take.

We are only a few hours away from Nashville so they omitted the flights so the new value is $8,000 (which blows my mind, but we have never attended anything like this so assuming everything is super expensive). We are still in shock and we only have 14 days to prepare.

Anyone ever attended the CMA fest and have any tips, tricks, or pointers?

This has definitely given me motivation to keep entering even when I don't feel like it.

My advice when winning a trip for 4--really make sure you get along with all of them lol! I won a calif trip for 4-took 2 relatives and a very close family friend. Had no problem with the friend the issue was with the relatives -i told my mom never again would i travel with those 2 lol!

Do your papers specify the ages of people who can go on the trip with you?

No cma fest trip but i won a trip for 2 to cma awards trip and it was action-packed! Sponsor added cool activities that weren't even mentioned in the rules so take good walking shoes. Bring along notebooks and pens to get autographs. Also phone chargers etc

Four Seasons is a fancy schmancy hotel property so for your special dinner--i would bring a dress-up outfit for that. Also find out age limit of who can attend that special dining experience.

Congrats! That sounds like a lot of FREE fun! I've seen Kelsea and Keith Urban before (great shows) so I know you'll have fun. Enjoy!
 
I have been to CMA fest many times.... It really depends on how much you want to do. Nashville in the summer can get really hot. So hydrate and use that as your guide on what you want to do. I personally really like where they do the autographs. It is nice and cool in there. There are concerts going on in so many places all day long. The nightly concerts are great that is where you will get the biggest headliners. If you don't mind a walk walking over the bridge to the stadium is a nice walk. If not definitely uber/taxi. It is SO MUCH FUN!! down all the streets they have fun things. If you like any lesser known country singers... look on their websites so many have fan club parties that week. They are often very very reasonable include meet and greet usually a small private concert and food. They used to be like $25 a ticket for those... but its been probably 10 years since I have been.
You will probably run into country singers around town that week or in your hotel. Just stay alert and awake they are typically super nice and will stop for photos autographs or whatever it may be.
There are just so many side events going on that week so really google see what is going on. There used to be a softball game, an auction of really cool stuff right on the lawn by the Country Music Hall of Fame too.
My biggest tip is to do your research before you go. There are TONS of people and things going on at every turn. Find out what or who you like the most and make that your priority. But really you cant go wrong. Every bit of it is fun!

I can tell you that the Four Seasons Hotel is top notch and that is where a large chunk of the money can be accounted for. The last time I stayed at one they brought warm Chocolate Sweepstakes & Giveaways chip cookies to our room. A highlight of my trip! Have fun and many congrats on a wonderful win!
