Last year, I won a 4 day 3 night trip to Reykjavik, Iceland ftom Icelandic Provisions. We went this past April. Blue Lagoon is awesome! Didn't see the Northern Lights. It was cloudy the night we went. I highly recommend going if you can.

I am in the process of verification for a trip to Greece from Pearl Olives. 9 days, 8 nights from Athens to Santorini. Small tour group. I know the taxes can be an issue, but you can't go on a trip like this for the amount of the taxes.
 
Wow! Lucky you! I've never been to either place, although I did see northern lights on a trip to Norway. You are totally right nor to turn this opportunity down because of the taxes. I f you tried to do it on your own ir would cost lots more and you wouldn't get such a full experience as on one of the small-group tours. Have a great time!
 
Congratulations! Go and enjoy while you still can. Someday you'll be too old and "broke down" to be able to enjoy a trip like that. I, too, liked to travel in my younger days, but, alas, old age has slowed me down.
