Trouble Transitioning

I think this post is a cross between sweepstakes talk/ venting/ chat about whatever. So I am putting it here! (Mods feel free to move it if need be!) I am having a really difficult time transitioning between zzz and here, sweeps wise I mean. I use Turbo for my daily sweeps so that makes it very easy to just look for the new ones today, but single entry sweeps are driving me batty. I don't want to DQ myself, but I don't want to spend days trying to figure out which ones I have entered and check marking them here, unless that's what I have to do! I was one day ahead on my expiring sweeps so I guess I could just start with anything ending tomorrow here. It is the single entry that is driving me batty. Any advice?

I use three sites for getting sweepstakes, but I can remember which sweeps I've entered. I just make it a point to take a good look at what the page looks like. So, if I pull it up again by mistake, and it looks familiar, then I know I've entered it.

As for disqualification, that is so over-dramatized at the other place; and I think you got conditioned into believing that if you accidentally enter again, you will be disqualified. The fact of the matter is is that a sponsor rarely ever disqualifies you for accidentally entering again. Once in a blue moon, I might see one here or there that might do that (not enough to worry about and usually not the big sponsors); but they normally only void out any of the subsequent extra entries. I wouldn't even give it a second thought or worry about it.

I know when I first started sweeping over here I would just not enter one times at both sites. I only entered them at zzz but now I just enter them here. Most of them I recognized and some I just took the chance.

I probably DQD myself from some but I just don't want to give that site any more money by clicking through his links. Maybe someone else can tell you how to transition but I just sweep here now. I still have access to sweeps there even though I was banned but I don't like the site so I don't go there much.

A lot of sponsors even go as far as letting you know that you have already entered by telling you that you have already entered that sweep. And like LIDARKSIDE said if you enter a sweep that is a one time they usually don't count but one entry and delete the others

I mean, you will find one here and there, once in a blue moon, that will disqualify you completely; but it's so few and far between to even worry about.

This is true. I never hyperventilate over an "we already have your entry" screen.

They normally don't get the extra prize(s) anyway. I did it on a few inadvertently not realizing it was one prize per person only, won again, but only got the first prize I won. They're usually pretty good at catching the extras.

I was stressed at first and then I just figured that if I was supposed to win the sweep, I would win it! Don't stress the small stuff. I still won many prizes throughout the transition.
